California Street Kitchen & Bath remodel

California Street, Berkeley, CA

This project involved remodeling and expanding the footprint of a small, outdated kitchen and bathroom.  By extending out one exterior wall, approximately 400 square feet was added to create more spacious and functional areas.  A wall was removed to open up the kitchen into the breakfast nook.  Careful design and zoning considerations were necessary to create the addition within a narrow street side yard of a corner lot.  Exterior materials and finishes were carefully selected to match existing in order to create a seamless addition.
